Free Realms’ innovative event calendar during its Snow Days, is an in-game daily guide to snowy activities taking place throughout the MMO world. Simply click on the daily event and your avatar is transported to the action. To get an idea of what the controls are like for playing soccer in the MMORPG Free Realms, we created this gameplay video for you to preview. The reason we are paying close attention to Free Realms new game expansion – Speedway Thunder – is that it means that one day it might be feasible to actually enter buildings in the game, or create guild houses or even personal living quarters. Perhaps even customizable living quarters like they did in Everquest 2. Rather than have our RobGoblin interns type it out for us, we’re just going to set up a magical teleportation gateway so you can zip right on over there and grab the Free Realms codes. Free Realms really is a fascinating experiment – so much like the world’s most popular/successful MMO – World of Warcraft, but so different in terms of its desired userbase. It may very well be that this Fisher Price ideology becomes its undoing when an eventual sea change in its population takes place. |
